Michael C. Dorsey has had a successful 20-year career as an investment banker to technology companies, and for the last 14 years has been a successful venture capitalist, having co-founded and run the most successful double bottom line venture capital fund, the Bay Area Equity Fund, which invested in Tesla Motors, Solar City, Pandora, Revolution Foods, Labcyte, Peninsula Pharmaceuticals, Five Prime Therapeutics, CareDx, and others. He also serves as a Director of Revolution Foods and Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Bay Area, and the Parents Advisory board of Stanford University and the Impact Investing Initiative of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
He is married to Susan Ford Dorsey, lives in Woodside CA, and has three adult children.
